01About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the tygress.com website (the “site”) and the early-access waitlist, both run by Tygress (“Tygress”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including your email address if you join the waitlist.

02Pre-release software

Tygress is a self-hosted API gateway and AI gateway. It is pre-release: the gateway is built and in active pre-1.0 development, but it is not publicly available. The site describes software under development, and its features, limits and plans may change before release.

These terms don't grant you any licence to the Tygress software. Access to any beta or release will come with its own terms, which will govern your use of it. An open-source core is planned at launch. Release and license details will be published with the release.

03The waitlist

• Joining the waitlist is free and needs only an email address. No payment is taken.
• Joining doesn't guarantee access to a beta or a release, or any particular timing, pricing or features. We decide who is invited to early access, and when.
• Prices shown on the site are preliminary. They may change before launch, and they are not an offer to sell.
• Please sign up only with an email address you are entitled to use, and don't sign up anyone else without their permission.
• You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in every waitlist email, or by emailing hello@tygress.com. We may change or end the waitlist at any time.

04Accuracy of content

We work to keep the site accurate, and we date what changes: many pages show when they were last updated, and the changelog lists what has been built in the gateway. Even so, the site is general information about software in development, not a promise of how any release will behave, and it may contain errors.

Comparisons with other products, such as Kong and LiteLLM, reflect those vendors' public documentation as of the dates shown on each page. Other products change, so check their current documentation before you decide. If you spot something out of date, please tell us at hello@tygress.com.

05Intellectual property

The site's content, including its text, design, graphics, the Tygress name and logo, and code samples, belongs to Tygress or its licensors. You may view the site, link to it, share it, and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may copy configuration examples to evaluate Tygress. Please don't copy substantial parts of the site, or use the Tygress name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

Names of other companies and products that appear on the site are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify those products, and their use doesn't imply any affiliation with or endorsement by their owners.

06Acceptable use

When you use the site, please don't:

• break the law, or use the site to harm others;
• try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission. If you find a security problem, please report it to hello@tygress.com instead;
• submit the waitlist form with automated tools, with other people's addresses, or in bulk;
• access the site with automated tools in a way that degrades it for other visitors;
• pretend to be Tygress, or to be affiliated with us when you aren't.

We may block access to the site or remove a waitlist entry that breaks these rules.

07Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as vendor documentation and our profile on X. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

08Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the site, its content and the waitlist are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. Nothing on the site is legal, security or other professional advice.

09Limitation of liability

The site and the waitlist are free. To the extent the law allows, Tygress is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the waitlist, or from relying on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, these terms don't affect the rights the law gives you that cannot be waived by contract.

10Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change this page and the “Last updated” date at the top; the updated terms apply from then on. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. We may also change, suspend or stop the site or the waitlist at any time.
